Stuart is a cybersecurity recruiter and Founder of Marston Search Ltd, providing contract and permanent talent solutions across the industry. With over 17 years of experience gained in Birmingham, he is deeply invested in the local tech landscape.
As well as BrumSec Connect, Stuart is known for his work as an organiser of the annual BSides Birmingham conference and his collaboration with the ISACA Central Chapter.
Outside of work, Stuart is an avid Tottenham fan and a keen (but very average) golfer!
Nick Gumbley
Nick Gumbley is the Managing Director of a Professional Services consultancy, where he leads advanced cybersecurity delivery and client strategy. With over 30 years of industry experience gained across major global firms in the Midlands, he is deeply committed to strengthening the region’s cyber resilience.
As well as BrumSec Connect, Nick is known for his dedication to building a collaborative local tech ecosystem, volunteering his time to organize quarterly meetups for security professionals across Birmingham.
Outside of work, Nick is an avid traveler and a keen squash player!
Marc England
Marc is an offensive security specialist and vulnerability researcher, specializing in advanced Kubernetes security, 5G infrastructure and container forensics. With a deep background in advanced penetration testing and technical risk assessment, he is dedicated to identifying and mitigating complex vulnerabilities.
As well as BrumSec Connect, Marc is highly active in the offensive security community, regularly diving into deep-dive CTFs and building proprietary security tooling to help secure modern containerized environments.
Outside of work, Marc is a passionate maker who enjoys electronics engineering and design.
